  • Event tourism is a more integrated approach in planning and implementation to ensure the sustainable development of tourism. With this emphasis, it is able to maintain and enhance tourism assets as well as promote the tourism segment of the event especially among youth tourists This study focuses on the tourism pattern of the event among the youth tourists that leads to the awareness and encouragement among youth tourists in the involvement of eventshaped tourism activities. The data for this study were collected through the circulation of survey forms at UKM, Putrajaya and MAEPS, Serdang. The findings show that youth tourism patterns are more organized, segmented, organized and systematic and have transparent planning and implementation. However, the tourist pattern of youth tourism has no significant difference with backpacker or family tourism. Most of the youth tourists choose to explore new places, have fun while shopping and shopping as you travel in accordance with the allocation budget listed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
