Having an important place in the lives of many people, fortunetelling is a sine qua non reality of human life. One of the elaborate forms of the fortune-telling that we come across is Palmistry. Palmistry is a way of fortune-telling which is believed to reveal the character and the future of a person by looking at the lines in palms or the shaped of fingers. This kind is based on to get opinion about a person as regards to the slimness -- thickness, lengthiness-shortness and disconnectedness-straightness of the lines in his/her hands. Günümüzde birçok insanın yaşamında önemli bir yer tutan fal, insan hayatının olmazsa olmaz gerçekliğinden biridir. Oldukça renkli bir kompozisyonla karşımıza çıkan bu fal türlerinden biri de Kefnâme'dir. Kefnâme, avuç içindeki çizgilere ve parmakların şekline bakarak, hem geleceği hem de insanın karakterini ortaya koyduğuna inanılan bir fal şeklidir.
