FINANCING MODELS OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE FINANCE HISTORY.

Finance models, emerge as a result of efforts to find funds within economic systems. In the second half of the19th century the Ottoman Empire was in an era in which changes took place in economy and finance. In the study, in order to reveal the development process of financing models, it was investigated using qualitative analysis method the applications used by the Ottoman Empire in providing finance. In this context, financing models in the Ottoman economy were examined in connection with the Ottoman financial history. It will help to identify alternative finance models and applications by associating them with the current financial models understanding the situation in the historical process of these models. In the study, first of all, the Ottoman Empire’s was evaluated the financial system and historical development process related to finance capital. Then, it was examined the ways of apply their and financial models applied in this system. Finally, the financing models of the Ottoman Empire were compared with the Islamic financial instruments used today. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Finans modelleri, ekonomik sistemler içinde fon veya kaynak bulma çabalarının bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. 19. yüzyılın ikinci yarısı Osmanlı Devleti için ekonomide ve finansta değişimlerin gerçekleştiği bir çağ olmuştur. Çalışmada finansman modellerinin gelişim sürecini ortaya koyabilmek amacıyla Osmanlı Devleti’nin finans sağlamada kullandığı uygulamalar kalitatif analiz yöntemi kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, Osmanlı ekonomisinde finansman modelleri Osmanlı’nın finans tarihi süreciyle bağlantılı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu modellerin tarihi süreçteki durumunun anlaşılması günümüzde uygulanan finans modelleri ile ilişkilendirilerek farklı finans modellerin ve uygulamaların belirlenmesine yardımcı olacaktır. Çalışmada öncelikle Osmanlı Devleti’nin finans kapitaliyle ilgili tarihi gelişim süreci ve finansal sistemi değerlendirilmiştir. Ardından bu sistemde uygulanan finans modelleri ve uygulanış şekilleri incelenmiştir. Son olarak da Osmanlı Devleti’nin finansman modellerinin günümüzde kullanılan İslami finansal araçlar ile mukayesesi yapılmıştır. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
