High p16 expression and heterozygous RB1 loss are biomarkers for CDK4/6 inhibitor resistance in ER+ breast cancer

Publication Type: Academic Journal

Source(s): Nature Communications, Vol 13, Iss 1, Pp 1-20 (2022)

Abstract: CDK4/6 inhibitor resistance is common in breast cancer. Here, the authors show that p16 overexpression may be linked to reduced efficacy of CDK4/6 inhibition, and show that the combination with PI3K inhibitors may increase anti-tumour effects.

Engineering an autonomous VH domain to modulate intracellular pathways and to interrogate the eIF4F complex

Publication Type: Academic Journal

Source(s): Nature Communications, Vol 13, Iss 1, Pp 1-22 (2022)

Abstract: Approaches have been devised to increase the discovery rate of intrabodies but often these yield results that aren’t functional in cells. Here the authors engineer and optimise an autonomous and disulphide-free human VH domain for intracellular express...

Assembling covalent organic framework membranes via phase switching for ultrafast molecular transport

Publication Type: Academic Journal

Source(s): Nature Communications, Vol 13, Iss 1, Pp 1-8 (2022)

Abstract: Covalent organic framework (COF) membranes are important in low energy and cost-effective molecular separations but most COF membranes are assembled via a one-step procedure by concurrent polymerization and crystallization which compromises the ordered...

An in vitro evaluation of smear layer removal with non-activated self adjusting file, xp-endo finisher and rotary canal brush: A scanning electron microscopic study

Publication Type: Academic Journal

Source(s): Journal of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vol 11, Iss 1, Pp 17-22 (2022)

Abstract: Background: Endodontic success involves removal of necrotic vital tissue and microorganisms from the root canal. Irrigation is an essential part of canal debridement, because it allows cleaning beyond what might be achieved by instrumentation alone. Ai...

Differentiation of Subclinical Ketosis and Liver Function Test Indices in Adipose Tissues Associated With Hyperketonemia in Postpartum Dairy Cattle

Publication Type: Academic Journal

Source(s): Frontiers in Veterinary Science, Vol 8 (2022)

Abstract: Past studies suggested that during early lactation and the transition period, higher plasma growth hormone (GH) levels in subclinical ketosis (SCK) might involve the initiation of body adipose tissues mobilization, resulting in metabolic disorders in r...
